Research Interests

Broadly, I am interested in the intersections of gender, space/place, religion, and medicine in 18thand 19thcentury U.S. history. My current research looks at how women navigated gendered boundaries in the Moravian community located in North Carolina. I am also interested in public history and oral histories.
