Academic Interests
I am interested in modern American politics and religion, the origins and intersections of political and religious identity in the face of modern political division and realignment, and the liberal/conservative divide in American religion, both in how it is experienced by individuals and how it has been written about by academics.
Why I Chose Baylor
I chose Baylor for its commitment to a Christian identity in the world of higher education and for the History department’s growing focus on religious history.
